I completed my Pulmonary training in 1980. I was attracted to this specialty because both my father and my brother were specialists in Lung Diseases. For many years, I was on the faculty of Albany Medical College in the 1980’s. I was also the chief of medical services in the VA Healthcare system for ten years. We have now been in practice in Amityville since 2000. I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Diseases.Our major Hospital affiliation is with Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.
Narendra Singh, M.D.
I am Board certified in Internal medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Disorders. My major interests are patients with Sleep Apnea and Critical Care illnesses. I have been with Dr. Khanijo for nearly ten years. I am employed with the North Shore Health system as a Critical care Intensivist.
Sam Davidoff, D.O.
I completed my training in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care from North Shore Health System in 2009. Since that time, I have been a part of this practice. I enjoy all aspects of Pulmonary Medicine including Critical Care, Sleep Disorders, Inpatient Evaluations and Office Work.
Edison Gavilanes, M.D.
Dr. Gavilanes is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. He specializes in all disease states of the lungs and chest and interacts with patients and families in the hospital and in outpatient office setting. He is active in resident education and servers as medicine sub-specialty coordinator for critical care, having great influence in teaching the physicians of tomorrow.
